Realtime Custom Cabinetry System 27

Realtime Custom Cabinetry System (RCCS) is the parametric cabinetry modeling system for Revit, developed by Advanced BIM Systems. RCCS-27 PRO is now available for Revit 2027 — the largest, most capable release in RCCS history, with over 500 toolbar functions, 95 fully parametric handle types, and 51 brand-new detail presets.

Unlike conventional families libraries, RCCS plugs directly into Revit's native curtain wall toolset. Each cabinet, drawer, frame, or appliance is hosted in its own curtain wall cell — so every component understands the components next to it. Stretch a grid and the cabinetry stretches with it. Swap a base cabinet for a dishwasher and the surrounding components adjust automatically.

The result is cabinetry modeling that behaves like native Revit geometry: parametric, responsive, and entirely inside your normal design workflow.

HOW TO CREATE STUNNING DESIGNS

INITIAL LAYOUT

Create a Wall:

Place a wall in your Revit project to serve as the host for your kitchen.

Sketch in Elevation View:

Open an elevation view of the wall. Use the RCCS line tool to sketch the outline of your kitchen cabinets, including countertops, appliances, and any other desired features.

Create a Curtain Wall:

In the floor plan view, use the RCCS wall tool to create a curtain wall along the wall where you sketched your kitchen. Adjust the wall's size to match your sketch.

CREATE THE DESIGN

Add Curtain Grids:

Use the RCCS grid tool to divide the curtain wall according to your sketch. Align the grids with the lines in your elevation view sketch.

Sketch in Elevation View:

Open an elevation view of the wall. Use the RCCS line tool to sketch the outline of your kitchen cabinets, including countertops, appliances, and any other desired features.

Utilize AI (Optional):

In the 3D view, use the RCCS AI function to automatically generate a kitchen design based on your grid layout. Choose a style (modern or classic) and let the AI do its work.

REFINE THE DESIGN

Assign Cabinetry and Appliances:

Manually assign specific cabinet types, appliances, and other elements to each grid section using the RCCS tools. Adjust depths and configurations as needed.

Fine-tune in 3D:

Switch between 2D and 3D views to fine-tune your design. Add sinks, cooktops, and other details.

Customize Styles:

Experiment with different color combinations and wood styles using the RCCS style tools.
